Cheers for your praise.I had neglected it for long time and now need to get it into tip top condition like my old garden used to be.I will be installing a water irrigation system under the decking so i can grow my geraniums>I usually put them all around the border of the decking and hanging baskets.

If i find old pictures i will put on but as we are away there is no one to look after them.So i guess next projest loads plastic piping.

Looking forward to once we move to cyprus of having a big garden and sitting back and looking at it but with a drink or two.It is nice if you have great surroundings for BBQ or friends in.Something similar in cyprus would be nice. The weather here is not exctly the same.

Hi Frank

The garden looks great.

What irrigation system will you be using?

I have the Hoselock system installed in my garden, keeps Pam happy when we go on holiday, knowing that the plants are being watered without having to ask someone to come round and water them every day if the weather is warm. I can't believe how much time it saves also, with not having to bother with a watering can, more time to sit and relax when work/weather permits.

Hi Brian

It is some thing we are going to look into as a lot of it can be hidden under decking and under barge board of garage.I will def keep you updated as still need couple ton stone for front garden yet to be done.

Frank,

Very nice but all I can say is, take as many pictures as you can because you'll never have a garden & lawn like that when you finally move over to Cyprus

Pete

That is for sure and would never contemplate a lawn in cyprus.I shall go fo a complete different look and layout. However if we decide to rent out this property long term then we need it t appeal as much as possible.Or if we sell it needs something better ie nice garden surrounding which help sell ie big kitchen. As they say first 30 seconds count when viewing as you get a feel straight away.

Having sold ours mate, Bathrooms & Kitchens sell houses, if you've got a good outside space, then that helps..

Yep could not agree more pete as we have been through the process before and our kitchen is approx 28' wide by 15' deep. Not many of them around also a nice bathroom.During the time i used to survey it is what sells property. We looked at moving also but never found a house that could beat our kitchen or amount of parking space etc in our area.

Take into account from front to rear downstairs approx 65' in depth you may understand.Gotta get it right for rentals when time comes.

Good job on the garden Frank, and thanks for sharing it provides some inspiration. Its nice to see the pictures and to be able form some ideas about what might work in our yard. It looks like there shouldn't be to much maintenance with the design you used either. Luckily for me my green space is very limited and no matter what I do, the maintenance will be limited. Alas it will be a project for next year, what I need now is some high top patio furniture that will fit on a 4'x6' deck if you have any recommendations.
