Hi Maggie

Plugs - same as UK (if you buy anything with a 2 pin plug you can easily buy adaptors) - the sockets are 3 pin

Christams decorations - available to buy everywhere, and there are some gorgeous ones

Hairdresser in Peyia - sorry, can't help you on that as have never lived in Peyia, but I'm sure someone will be along to help with that question. :greetings

Hairdressers.

Best you visit Argos before you come and buy a pair of clippers with several extra number 1 combs on......

However in Paphos, the barber under the Kiniras hotel in the old town does a great job...... I recommend him.

I dread to think how much an M & S Christmas Cake would be over here - if they have them in store before you leave, bring one with you . . . . . . . :greetings

hi jean

must be honest

when ever we have xmas'd away in far flung places

I have always taken a small M&S christmas cake with me in my suitcase

as well as daft twinkling xmas earings for wearing on the beach on xmas day :celeb2

this year will feel diferent though as we are away from home for far longer than our obligatory and normal 2 weeks

so I will look out for the early arival of xmas cakes in the shops before we fly out

cheers for that

maggie

You Kays had M&S Christmas Cakes in last year (they went fast). Possibly some of the other UK import store as well.
If you bring Christmas Cake in a suit case I would double check you're weight limit. Quick check and a lot of the M&S Christmas cakes are about 1kg.

Hairdresses in Peyia - sorry no help either. There are people who live in Peyia post on here, honest.

Pete's Barbers in Peyis is very good - €5. for pensioner's haircut and I think its every 4th or 5th h/cut free, something like that...........

For Hairdresser - Jonathans along the TKR is very good and very popular.
