| Post subject: | Wood for the Winter |
We have bought our house in Stroumpi and are preparing for winter, I have managed to find some wood and will continue to scavage for more wood whenever possible, but as a back up I may actually have to buy some. Can I have some suggestions regarding what is the best wood to burn and who is reliable in providing same. Also any suggestions about where to get it for free. |

Not having a wood burner , I would not know, but I think that carob is suggested as a good burner .. Another thiung , polemi Dave might be able to point you in the right direction of wood .. |

If you need to buy it,we found Charis on 97787938 very reliable. Only buy hardwood not pine and he does a good load for 80e. Neil could be right about carob but I was under the impression it was in short supply as the trees are protected,could have beem misinformed though. |
