I will be staying in Elysium hotel for 7-10 days, during this time I will be visiting the school with my kids and looking for a 4 bedroom villa to rent for approx 4months....what's the best way to find a villa? The net or just by driving around ? if a villa is for rent will there be a sign on the property stating its for rent? Are there any good sites that are updated regularly I could browse through. I am planning Peyia but any other place close to the school TLC is an option.....

Many thanks
Susan .

Hello Susan,

There are many companies dealing with villa rentals and there are some very good deals to have out there.
In Peyia itself there is a company called Cyprus Villas, they are very helpful.
Then there is Paphos finder in Kissonerger,Flowron Rentals in Paphos,Mr. Rent also in Paphos,PHS in Paphos,Busy bees in Paphos etc.
Google them for contact and web site details and see what they have to rent for 4 months.

How long is a piece of string ? ..
Its always going to be horses for courses ..
Its a very nice area , but not for me , but then my needs are may be much different than yours,
I have a few friends that live in that area and its very good for them ..
best come across and have a look around , then you will get a better idea ..

Wait until you get here and have a good look around at different areas.Something on paper looks and sounds good until you go there and you find construction sites, rubbish, barking dogs, crowing cockerels etc etc.
There are loads of rental agencies that will take you around and you will get a good idea of what you are looking for.
Agios Georgios is lovely but there is nothing there in the form of shops or entertainment. You will need a car just to go shopping for food. I would like it there as I am retired and like peace and quiet, but would not want it if I had children and teenagers.
There is a lovely little harbour there and a couple of eateries but nothing else.
Peyia or Coral Bay would probably suit you better as there are lots of things going on within walking distance and Coral bay has a good swimming beach for all the family plus watersports for your teens.Gymnasiums etc too.
