Post subject: | Moving to Paphos October 2016 |
Hi All We are moving to Cyprus very soon, will need to open a standard bank account with preferably internet access,debit/cash card so i can pay bills etc. I have browsed around but can't really seem to find any up to date info. Just interested to know the best way to do it, what documentation I will need.etc. Going to be in the Chloraka area initially at least Any recommendation as to which bank is the best? Any help much appreciated. Thanks in advance |

Google ....http://www.bankofcyprus.com.cy/en-GB/Current-Accounts You can contact them in advance of your arrival and get accurate details for setting up an account, including their internet access. They are very helpful. |

The bad news is that you are moving to the village where pretty much all the banks have now closed. My recommendation would be Bank of Cyprus at their Akamantidos branch which is on your left as you pass from Chlorakas to Paphos on the top road. Very helpful staff. Personally, having used most of the banks over the years, Bank of Cyprus have proved nest for me and they seem to have the best online banking as well. |

OK thanks once again, don't really mind where the branch is as most of my day to day stuff I can manage on line. |
