7. Description of Attraction:

Mainly an indoor covered market in the centre of town selling clothes, jewellery, shoes, pictures, art, handbags, lace tablecloths, leather goods and tourist souvenirs etc in a Bazaar style setting. An interesting and colourful market, big enough to occupy most for an hour or two. There is also an outside covered market, selling fresh fruit and vegetables, locally produced and less expensive than the supermarket. Near to the fruit and vegetable stalls is a small, fresh, fish shop.

9. Additional Information:

a) Parking in the main public car park near to the bus stop close to the Turkish Baths, it is well sign posted. The entrance is on the left and down a steep ramp, a lift is available but not working on our last two visits. The car park is pay and display but not expensive, the machine takes euro coins only.
b) Suitable for the disabled in and around town bearing in mind the car park lift not working, but roadside parking is also available on meters.
c) There are plenty of restaurants and good cafes in and around the market.
d) Public transport is available to the market from Coral Bay, Kato Paphos and the Harbour at regular intervals. Check time table for bus number and times or call into the tourist information centre.
e) The market is open daily from Monday to Saturday, closed on a Sunday.

10. Directions to Location:

From Begonia Gardens crossroads head towards Paphos old town. Turn left at the second set of traffic lights and follow the road past the Agapinor Hotel and Marks & Spencer. Keep to the left and follow the road around to the car park and market.
