The V & A have just opened a new Museum in Dundee, there is a trend these days for major museums to set up a satellite in smaller towns to help the area. They are, at present featuring Scottish Artifacts.
The building is, shall we say, eye catching. The Architect says is is like a Scottish Cliff he once saw.

The building is at Discovery Point wher RSS Discovery is on display, the ship that took Scott to the Antarctic, which was built in Dundee.

Could be worth a trip for those in the UK. Tayside and Perthshire are nice parts of the country with plenty to see and do.

Great to see the regeneration of the old dock areas still going ahead. Whenever I go back the road system is always different.

I hope they use a different name or the full version as the locals in Dundee use that name for a woman!!!

Maybe now the two football teams in the City can start a transformation also.
