Post subject:  satelite problems

Can you tell me if anyone is having problems with there satelite. Every night the same time 6.30 the picture goes all crackley. And now we cannot get many of the englsh channels. We have reset the receiver but still nothing. :evil:

I've heard of people having spiders & webs etc in the dish receiver thingy-me-bit, so maybe worth checking that. Creatures have their timings, so maybe? ...

oh my god we had jez out to take a look and you were right it was spiders.All cleared now and working perfectly even though it cost 60 euros. Anyone know where we can get a white pay as you go sky card without paying the earth?

Yes. Sky if you mean a freeview card. However you'll need a friend in the UK whos address you can use who will send it out to you.
It will cost you £20 sterling. Order it online.

You can get the sky card from Andy's telecom down by the side of Paps (near the traffic lights), the Paps at the bottom of Polis Road, not the Harbour one.

Andy is reliable, honest and will fix it for you although not sure what he charges but when we were in there sorting out our showtime sports subscription last Sep I was reading the notices about Sky etc and they seemed reasonable.
