For the sake of not being taken off for advertising , I will use a made up name .

The company name is " Bird in the Hand Services Ltd " , can I call sections such as " Bird in the Hand Electrical Division " and Bird in the Hand Brickwork Division " , providing I use all the paperwork and documents like Invoices , Quotes and the such like under the main company name , inclusive the VAT .

but you may have to register the names ..

We have a company (fred bloggs cosmetics )
but we also have a registered name (fred bloggs beauty institute )

So you can trade using both ..
