During my recent stay in a private hospital a procedure was carried out at a cost in excess of the guidelines published by my medical insurance company. This was done without my knowledge. Am I legally bound to pay the difference? The hospital was aware in advance that my treatment was to be paid by my medical insurance: all the other costs of my stay were within the guidelines and have been paid by the insurance company. |
