Post subject:  Communal Site Management Company

Hi all,

Sorry if this has been covered somewhere but I have looked & looked and can not find the answer I need!!

The complex where I live has a management committee and we have decided to use a company to look after the communal management & admisitration (fee collection) for the next financial year.

I understand we need to get 51% of the owners to agree to this move and the managment committee need to send a letter to the owners so they can approve and send back to us (if they agree).

Has anyone else done this & do they have a copy of the letter/wording I can use? Cheeky I know ;)

Thank you in advance for any help!

If you already have a management committee in place and they are just outsourcing some of the work it may well already be permitted under their existing mandate - have you checked your complex's regulations?e

Hi Joplic,

The management committee are just setting up - all a rush job really - so they do not have anything set in place.

The developer has been doing everything but as from next year we need to do it ourselves.

Thank you :)
