Can anyone explain if, and how the business rates system works for offices, shops and small factories? |

hi tanny I run a shop in our village and the only extra rate I pay on top of council tax is for a work permit which last year was CY£25. I have no idea.. well i do actually cos everyone knows everyone else's business  how they work it out.. as its added to my apartment council tax which I rent out and I live in another village !but as far as i can make out. there is no such thing as property rates!! maybe its different in other areas.carollynne |
