Now, normally I turn a blind eye to the ferrals in my area as they are all extremely well fed, but after taking my three hooligans for a walk this morning, heard at least 3 different "nests" (not sure if this is the right terminology for kittens but you know what I mean) of kittens in the long grasses of empty plots. Problem is normally between now and the end of the month all the plots are cleared, so what do I do. I would normally leave them but have never heard the amount of "nests" as this year as usually they all seem to go into the green area and have the kittens there. I haven't a clue as to how old the kittens are, as the dogs would have frightened them too much if they are a bit older, but this is the first time I have heard them and I go the same route every morning, so possibility they have only just been born within the last 24 hours.
Suggestions please people as although I am not a cat lover would hate to think of the horrific death they would have by a bull dozer ripping them to pieces.
