We are looking for a friend for our 6month old pup, shes a blonde and very lively, she was a rescue dog left dumped in the mountains. now the time has come to get her a play mate and offer another dog a loving home. We want a medium sized dog (short haired) prefered breeds: Bulldog or another Boxer etc. We DO NOT want the dog for breeding, and the choice for particular breeds is purely down to what weve grown up with and our knowledge of these breeds. If anyone has or knows of a dog similar to above please get intouch... age range from a puppy-onwards aslong as the dog is good with others and playful enough to buudy up with our little one.

Jonny,

Why not have a look in the rescue centres?
There are some lovely dogs and puppies all desperate for a good home.

Trouble is Ellie weve had a few run ins with the shelter in town (no names mentioned ;-)

PAWS are fantastic but rarely have these breeds, and tbh were not that clued up on other shelters/rehoming in paphos.

Not Paphos but still here in Cyprus is "Pound Dogs for Adoption, Limassol, Cyprus" - they rehome all kinds of waifs and strays from the Limassol municipal dog pounds and also fly them out to various European destinations. They try to prevent the euthanasia of any healthy dog as much as possible.

They almost always have puppies in the pounds from a few weeks to a few months old and are also looking for temporary foster homes for those dogs and puppies that are waiting to get their bums on an aeroplane to their new home.

They have a facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/PoundDogsForAdo ... ssolCyprus and their email address is: dogsincyprus@hotmail.com

If you can't foster or offer a forever home, they're looking for proceeds of sale of unwanted items or donations of stuff to sell or help with flight costs.

They rely solely on donations and have no government funding. Please take a look and share where you can. The dogs of Cyprus all need help.
