Nothing is ever quite that simple in Cyprus, especially when the government is involved. When you have your yellow slip from immigration, go and see the Citizens document centre in butcher boy road about a medical card. Different people have different criteria for medical cards, so it is best for them to tell what you need. When you have your medical card (if you are eligible) then go to the hospital to register and get the prescription book. Good luck |

Go to the reception and ask. If I remember correctly they do the registering and you collect the pad from the window on the corner to the right of reception. I think this window is closed a lot now but ask at reception, they should sort it out for you. Polly |

At Reception go left into the GP's Hall see the name on your label and check the name on a door or ask. U will no doubt ha ve to wait in a queue, but ask what number is on a person's label and check your label to see where u fit in. The GP will then write out the perscription in the book, stick a label on it and off to Pharmacy. Take your ticket and be prepared for a long wait.!!!! or u could be lucky with only a few there.
