Am very confused, some say 10 min walk to village but 20 back up the hill. How steep is the hill?

Also some say no busses, but 607 goes to peyia, is this not the same village? I know busses are not always on time or indeed turn up, but surely, if advertised they actually do go there sometimes.

Please can someone help me with this as Im ready to put deposit down. I do not want to hire a car, the views are fantastic, but i just need some good honest advice on the actual area.

Many thanks
Sharon

It's steep!! Imagine a ski slope without the snow!! Not one for those with heart problems that's for sure :)

Sorry to have to tell you but unless you are in very good health and enjoy mountain climbing you may have to consider a car hire.On the plus side,Philloppos supermarket do deliver groceries etc and there are takeaways in the village that also deliver. Not too bad walking down to the village but one hell of a steep climb going up.It is behind and above us and we have to have a car or we would never get out!

Yes I am in very good health and am now looking forward to this rental. I will respond during the holiday to say how I have found the ski slope lol.

Off to millets now for hiking boots..
