I've just added Hard Fi : Stars of CCTV into the playlist (good old west london boys) with Kaiser Cheifs : Employment to follow.

Anyone else got something to help wind down/up into the weekend ?

BD,

If you like Stars of CCTV have you got Once upon a time......the new album/CD? It's different than Stars but great nonetheless!! :D

Kaisers...Leeds' finest. I'm sure you know how they got their name. 8)

Regards,

Ian

At the minute all I can hear is bird song from outside which is kinda soothing.

But, I have my MP3 with me and listen to Muse (favourite song is Starlight), OMC with How Bizarre (oldie but I love it), Outkast's Hey Ya!, Timbaland's The way I are, Fedde le Grand's Put your hands up, JT's Sexy Back, Bee Gees (Disco queen at heart me!) Shakespeare sisters, Bob Sinclair, T-Rex, Snow Patrol and loads more.

I'm bopping as I type!

Y

Jeremy Kyle is on.

Seriously, I am not watching him. I am on here in between mopping my floors and cleaning up the dust the log burner has created. Ready for the next onslaught of cold weather at the weekend.

I listen to Kerang through my TV. Makes me feel closer to my boys.

At present Ian, I'm having trouble keeping my pc from crashing due to some hardware errors, so don't want to overload what I have or I'll not be able to do anything at all :( :(

Just finished my playlist with Stereophonics : Language Sex Violence ..... hadn't heard that much was a bit dreary.

I do have the second Hard-Fi and is good - need a few more listenings for now. Got the latest Kaisers too ... not bad.

I don't mind Muse but no really given them a proper listening yet ... do like Hysteria ..... reminds me of Radiohead for some reason

Ah you young uns always looking for new music. I think you reach an age when you stop looking and you look back and remember and I think I'm at that age now.
I tend to knock up CD's full of songs from my past that mean something or that I'd forgotten about.
Won't bore you with details but I've got a song in my head that I can't get rid of at the moment.
If you go on to You tube Music videos it will haunt you too. It's called Life is a Long Song and it's by Jethro Tull.
Give it a listen class.
Gary

I think you must be our era Gary. Phil will be straight on that site if he reads this post.

I am re-living my youth with Madman Across The Water by Elton John. It makes me want to cry, though, so maybe I should listen to something more uplifting until I am less hormonal.

Verity and everyone else, Do yourself a favour and go onto the You Tube site and just listen to that Tull track. It did get in the charts so you may recognise it. It's just got me at the moment.
If you enjoy it try Valediction by Wishbone Ash. It's just the most fantastic melodic guitar.
For something a bit more uplifting try You don't need someone new by The Lotus Eaters. Love It.
Where would we be without our music ?
Gary

I'm mainly listening to 3 bands at the moment; Daughtry, Rooney & The Days. First to are american, last is a Devon based band that are about to release their first album, I saw them in London in November when they were supporting the Fray. Thought they were awesome!

Don't recognise many of the young 'en's music, but love a variety of different types of music.

Presently love Mica, he is constantly on my ipod which gives me an extra bout of speed in the gym.

Particularly like "Fat girls are beautiful" makes me also feel a lot better.

Yeh that's the one, although he didn't win. He's got so much talent, and a lot of people believe that the voting was rigged as he was favourite to win. Who knows?!

We went to see Rod Stewart last June in Manchester, it rained all night long but was absolutely fantastic!

Have you ever seen him live?

I use to love going to Wembley concerts, although my favourite venue was The Royal Albert Hall.

You know the one thing that annoys me about radio, one of your favourite songs come's on & all of a sudden, the DJ starts talking about what he did last night over the record :x

Why can't they wait until the song is finished, not as if they've got to wait long or don't have time between songs  :x
