Brian my melons have grown to about 8 inches diameter and seem to have stopped. What do/do you feed your plants on?

I don't feed them anything yet but I am told that tomato feed is good.

My problem at the moment is.My tomatoes are not ripening :lol: and I don't know why.

My toms areripening well but slowly as I planted them in a semi shaded spot, so I'll maybe get some late ones.

But its also this business of rubbing the flowers together for the melons. Why dont they pollinate as much as in the fields.
Do you have to clip them to stop growing outwards and spreading like triffids.

re. Tomatoes if possible cut back on watering, helps to speed up ripening, AND how much do you want for that cabbage.......
