This new restaurant on the strip in Coral Bay is IMHO great --we had a wonderful meal chosen of the set menu as it was a first time at a Japanese restaurant --but it wont be the last. Marj

We ate there last weeek first time in a japanese restaurant. It was fab! What a spectacle. Very entertaining. They really seem to enjoy their craft. Highly reccomended.

I know I'm 18 months late on this.
Have enjoyed Sushi and Japanese noodles in the UK.

We went to Samisen last night for the first time and really enjoyed it.
We ordered Gyoza and Tempura vegetables for starters, and beef, mixed Udon noodles for main course.
What we didn't expect was the fresh veg served in between the courses.
They cooked onions, potatoes, green beans, carrots and mushrooms on the hot plate (Tepanyaki) before the main course.
All the food was of excellent quality. The chefs are great entertainment and all the other diners sat around the Tepanyaki were very friendly and had a great time.
Finished off with a complimentary drink, it cost us 38 euros for the food.
Glass of house wine (box kolios we think) was 3 and a large carlsberg 3 euros also.

Is Samsien new? It could have been Wabi Sabi.

I have been to both and they are equally good, the Wabi Sabi has lovely surroundings, the food at both was really good.

Tried the Chinese upstairs from thew Wabi it is good but I am still missing the Jade Palace!

Hi, Samisen has been my families favourite restaurant since it opened, if i remember right it was 2008. We used to go there at least twice a month during a year and tried all food in menu. Got nice discount! Unfortunatelly now we can afford to go there on special occasions only, but we still have a good discount and it is still our favourite restaurant.
