Do any of you have usful information about cruising from Limassol.

We are ardent cruisers and would like to visit the greek islands.

Have done the med many times boarding from Soton, Venice, Barcelona and Palma but would like to try something different whilst in Cyprus.

What type of cruise liners are setting off from Limassol and how long are the trips?

All information very much appreciated.

Chris and OH

My landlady cruised the Greek Islands out of Limassol last year, so you can obviously do this. If no-one has the information for you one of the travel agencies will be able to help, I'm sure.

I would like to do this, too. So I am interested to know if anyone has any information, too.

Hi,
Some friends of ours who live in Peyia did this last year, I think they booked with a travel company in Coral Bay.

Thanks everyone

I will investigate your web sites and report back Verity

Neil, I love your posting not quite the "Navigator of the Seas" I was looking for.

Good Morning All

Last year we went on a 3 day mini cruise to Rhodes & Kos with Louis cruise - highly reccommend this was a great trip, the ship was nothing special but it was very clean, excellent food and also good entertainment.

See the link from the previous message or just pop into a local travel agent who can give you the sailing dates.

Have a good day
Suzanne

For informatiin:

Found cruise ship Sapphire which does 3-12 day cruises from Limassol throughout 2008.

This cruise ship doesn't look too bad with all basic amenities on 7 decks.
The cruise I aprticularly like is an 11 day fSept 25th from Limassol visiting:
Rhodes, Kalamata, Corfu, Venice, Koper, Split, Kotor, Ayios Nikolos, Limassol.

Prices deopendant on cabin from £576cy to £725cy

Web site as above postings gives more detail of other 5-7 days greek islands.
