been an arsenal fan all my life, so have my two boys, my daughter in law is a hammers fan, so dont talk to her much, lol. my son was mascot at highbury in 1991, one of the proudest moments of my sporting life, other than being at wembley in 71 when charlie george scored the winner against liverpool.

You see now I was OK with the likes of sunderland, Birmingham and Ipswich fans on here, but with Arsenal I feel it's just a little bit unfair - what are we supposed to do, take the mick out of their brilliant, attacking total football that looks like adding more trophies to the cabinet again this year??

Welcome anyway arsenal - just remember to be nice to us poor afflicted souls! :D

Oh I see, closet POOL fan eh

You see Martin, all these glory hunters coming out the closets now :D

We'll stick with our beloved TOON & hope things trun for the better in the final third of the season

We do have a Man Usa fan on the forum too, 'ZeusFC' so we're getting a few team supporters now, which is good, not seen any Spurts fans openly post yet tho  which surprises me, now that they're above us & looking good at last

Going to take me pills now :(

not long now, got the carlsberg in, invited the friends
(one of which is a utd, fan) gave the wife 10 euros to go shopping all day, (she cant get to grips with the new money yet, i told her it was £100)
hope arsenal are fit this week cos if we're winning we'll be playing about 10 mins injury time
what am i talking about, not if we're winning but WHEN we're winning.

come on you utd fans bring it on

GOD WHAT AM I GOING TO DO IF WE LOSE?

Arsenal, I was watching SSN this morning & they were saying that half of your first team is out injured or banned, so Wenger will be using some of the young guys you have, against Man U first 11...

Not looking good mate :? :?

i'm posting this at half time, before my next LARGE VODKA, we're being out played, by a better team, although we have got a reserve team out, we're showing no bottle, no matter what happens in the second half, we're not going tp win, so congrats man utd, good luck in the next round.

Sorry Arsenal but its going from bad to worse for you ... down to 10 men now.

Just keep drinking that Vodka mate and it won't seem half as bad.

Rooney for man of the match

You were well beaten and indisciplined. It was a bad day at the office.
My team has lots of them.
I'll be honest and tell you that I don't have a lot of time for London teams. 8)
I may though just hope that you lot pull away from Man United in the title race.
It might have something to do with our last game of the season. I wouldn't mind if you played like yesterday in that game !

i dont think we could ever play that bad again, with a bit of luck the prem will be decided by then, so we will field a weakened side, i think like a lot of top clubs, europe is more important,
i take it that the black cats wont be worried about europe this year or any other year

Well, well, well, the Paphos People curse strikes again! BigDutch is outed as a Liverpool fan and immediately sees his team dumped out the cup by mighty Barnsely, then arsenal comes along just in time to watch his boys humiliated on national telly by the Mancs!

By the way, I have to agree with Gary that it was Arsenal's discipline that really let them down - I know the better teams don't often get to experience losing, but to do so with a bit of humility would go a long way to gaining wider popularity. No-one likes to see a load of petulant, spoilt little rich kids whining and kicking everything that moves just because they've been thoroughly outplayed!

Chas mate, what happened last night, how could he miss that header in the dying minutes

I think you might struggle in the return leg, unless you pull off a great escape

Your guys seem to have taken their eye off the ball since beating us twice :(

pete, it's always the same with us, we play really well, but cant seem to finish, we're always trying to walk the ball in, it's very frustrating, but the thing is, when it comes off, the football is great to watch.
no english team has won at there ground, so it would be nice to be the first, the only good thing about drawing 0-0 at home, is if you score at there ground, they have two score 2.
(with the away goal rule)
