It is surprising but Paps or Carrefor might have them. I can look tomorrow for you.

Hi Jean,

Don't know about the dried ones but you can get the tinned ones here (work out a bit expensive though), or Paps do a frozen packet (don't know what these ones are like or price).

Hi Jean,
I got Dried Processed Peas in Carrefour in the Health Food Section - essential for making Scotch Broth.

Jean you can buy the pkt of bachelor's that have the tablets in or the pre soaked ones -- I always buy the Cypriot ones and add bicarb to soak. Marj

I find it easier to just buy a tin of normal processed peas and cook them for ages - gets them nice and mushy no problem!

Hi Jean

We have got Lockwards tinned mushy peas and marrow fat peas in the shop. They only came out of the container last week.

Thanks everybody - as I need them for over 50 people, I think it's going to work out expensive to get tins, hence me asking for the packet. I think we're sorted now though, so thanks again.

Tracey

Don't suppose there's any pickled red cabbage in that container? Got my pickled beetroot a couple of weeks ago from you.

Jean, great post. Being a good community spirited person and with your best interests at heart I did an amount of investigation for you.

Yup, both Asda and Tesco have them.

Sorry Jean, no red cabbage this time. Stan is back in the UK in a couple of weeks time to source the next container. He will be looking out for some as quite a lot of customers have asked us for it.

I doubt I have them mate as I'm not losing any great weight, its just I'm not putting much on either, maybe something to do with my IBS probably.. I fluctuate between 194lbs - 198lbs, which isn't bad considering I was 215lbs when I came to Cyprus 16 months ago :D
