I've heard dogs like that are sometimes used as some kind of substitute for blokes who are concerned about their own masculinity, but I'm sure that doesn't apply to you Andy.

Quite simple really.... train the dog properly and it will behave as the rest of society expects. It will be your best buddy and protect you when required. Even a toy poodle will bark at an intruder should your property be infiltrated!

MAN'S BEST FRIEND.

Half baked idiots get 'dangerous' dogs and call them Tyson etc., without training they will lapse into the real animal that their genes still cling onto and cause problems. All dogs can be perfect if trained in the correct manner according to the breed.

They are a life changing decision, they need a lot of attention and upkeep. Do not just get any animal just because it looks 'cute' as a puppy. Once you have a dog, you probably never be without one until the day you die. :heart

It's all on hold at the mo, my mother has recently had a heart attack so I have been brow beaten by the family into looking after and walking a very fat Bedlington Terrier that I have decided I am going to get back to it's proper whippet like state. This could benefit both me and the dog.
