Mine has to be the baby food diet - I went through a phase of only eating baby food and drinks.

I then tried an almost fat free diet where I would only eat food that had less than 2g of fat in the whole meal.

Strangely none of these worked!

Anyone else done strange things to lose weight?

xx

Tried a boiled egg diet once, just ate 4 boiled eggs a day and it only lasted two days. I am on a low fat eating plan now that is working really well, it works to the principle of 4gsm fat for every 100 gsm, best thing apart from the consistent weight loss is that I have not had acid or heartburn since day one, which keeps me disciplined with the eating as I don't want to go back to acid throat, but when I have reached the weight I feel comfortable with it will be okay to have occasional treats that are full of fat :smilielol

I found that just eating less seems to work.

My husband is on the egg and grapefruit diet, this is a kick start diet and you can lose up to 7 lbs. a week (not suitable for more than a couple of weeks at a time though).

He has half a grapefruit and a poached or boiled egg for breakfast, fruit for lunch and meat and salad for his evening meal, no milk and definitely no booze.

A bit boring but as I say great for a kick start to a diet.

Oh then there’s the cabbage soup diet but I think that’s disgusting.
