I switched on the TV set this morning and the sounds gone! No, I haven't got the mute button on and the sound is fine if I put a DVD on so it's not the speakers.

If anyone's got any bright ideas they'd be much appreciated?

Though that does sound a bit strange !!
It must be something on the recieveing side of things
before it gets to the speakers as a dvd is not receiving a signal ..

Thats just a totaly un-educated thought

Thanks Neil - it may well have been an 'uneducated thought' but you were on the right lines. :clapping

Your comment that it must be on the 'signal receiving line' made me think. I re-booted the SKY system and then reset it all when I got the 'no satellite signal being received' message and it all came back on again.

If you can wait until Sunday , they do repeat some of the Soaps with Sign Language .
