At last found a chainsaw in uk very cheap. And we are allowed to carry it back with us as handluggage with easy jet.

I would be very surpised if they let you ..

I just have visions of someone at the cockpit door,
cutting down with a chainsaw ..

Oh love chainsaws I was "let loose" with one once to cut my conifers down...... hadent had so much fun for years...till my psychiatrist made me give it back ... Im sooooo easily pleased...

Have been on phone to Easyjet, we have the go ahead to bring back chainsaw as hand luggage as long as no petrol inside, sealed properly and contains a receipt.

Just to let you all know we brought back the chainsaw in our suitcase and nothing was said!
