Congratulations to Amanda and Rob on the birth of their first baby, a little boy named James who was born yesterday. He weighed in at over 4 kilos.

Our first PP baby.

He was born at Paphos General Hospital.

Get some sleep, Amanda. It is a rare commodity in the first few months. :lol:

I went to see Amanda and baby James yesterday. What a cutie. I had a cuddle because he woke up with tummy ache and was a little unsettled for a while. He is typical of the baby species - produced a resounding burp from one end and a pile of poo from the other. I will let you guess which end was which. :lol:

Why we women turn to marshmallow over babies God only knows. :lol:

Anyway, Amanda looks really well and if she ever gets any time to herself ever again she will write up her experience of having a baby in the Pafos General Hospital. She seems very pleased with her care, and the ward was clean.

I have told her that there are some good wishes awaiting her on this board. Hopefully she will be home today where she and Rob can begin to get to know their new little man properly.

I went past midlife a while back but you're right I'm :offtopic sorry :oops:

Glad to see they named the baby after your Administrator too :wink: very apt I'd say :D :D look forward to seeing the picture's if Amanda & Rob will let us see them :D

Wow thanks for the congratulations everyone.

James is doing well, we came home yesterday morning and i am recovering well. I will write about my experience at the General as lots of people say negative things about it, but my experience was a postive one (not just because of James) the care i received was IMO great, they looked after me well (if i could understand Greek it would have no doubt been excellent!)

I will try my best to attach a photo of James for you.

He is gorgeoous - such a little sweetie. Glad your stay in the General was OK - a friend of mine is in there at the moment, and he seems to be fine after his op today.

You must be so proud of James - our very first PP baby. Keep posting the photos, we all want to see how he progresses - after all, he's got lots of "aunties" and "uncles".

That is so unfair, as a paediatric nurse I can't ever see a baby and not have a cuddle!!!!!

Ah well I guess I will just have to drool over little James, he is so cute, and hope he is able to stay sleeping as long as you wish him to.
