Hi - I haven't got a guide book, but I am interested in how you managed to sort the journey to Barcelona. I ask as I am also looking at a cruise that starts from Barcelona :greetings

The only Airline we could find that fly’s direct to (Girona) 1.5 hours out of Barcelona, is Ryan Air from Larnaca. ( Staying a night in hotel 5 mins from the airport) then bus into Barcelona the next day.
Ryan Air did not seem to have this flight after the 30th Oct ( Our booked date).
May be it will start again in the spring.
However the only other alternative flights at a reasonable price was Aegean Larnaca Athens overnight, then onto Barcelona next day.

I will PM this just in case you miss it.

Via Prague, or Zurich, or Vienna or Athens, Larnaca to El Prat, my Spanish buddy says. Have trouble typing El Prat without sniggering.
