Come and join us for a tea/coffee and a slice of home-made cake!! Then browse around for your favourite books, grab a jar of apricot jam or a jar of chillie chutney, or maybe pickled cabbage or pickled onions!!! Check out the wonderful haberdashery, the DVDs & CDs, the games...........

You could easily spend a half day with us and not realise where it had gone!

Spend some time with us, buy a book, add some preserves, get that birthday card you've been meaning to get for weeks, oh and don't forget the eggs!

But on the cake and bake day it mentions 10-30 am, so I assume that is roughly when the sale of the cakes usually starts.

Tuesday 13th September

Jewellery & Craft day at the Bookshop!!! A display of beautiful jewellery by Karin's Beads and others, as well as a day of Parchment Craft. This is the art (??? - well it is me doing it!) of making beautiful cards, bookmarks, pictures, boxes, wall hangings etc with parchment paper. There will be cards to buy, but more importantly, the opportunity to try this craft for yourself. So come along, have a go and maybe surprise yourself!
