Paphos People

Hi...I'm new to Paphos people....so Hello!
We have a house in Trimithousa that we use as a holiday home (we live in Dubai) and recently our daughter & her friend arrived and found it covered in bird poo and 3 dead pigeons....they spent the holiday cleaning what they could but did just shut some doors & hoped the poo cleaning fairies would take over! We have had the chimney recapped....but does anybody know of a cleaning company who could clean this for us...including inside cupboards, mattresses (may have to bin them?) It's a 3 bed, 2 bathroomed house. Otherwise we have to fly over to clean, so hope someone knows somebody who can do it for a good price! Ta....Lou

The bad news is Pigeon Poo is VERY dangerous!!!!

Ocular histoplasmosis, a fungal infection that eats away at the eyeball is just one of over sixty diseases that birds can transfer to humans. Their droppings are often the vehicle for transmission as they dry out, turn to dust, become airborne, and are absorbed by the mucus membranes of unknowing victims.

Droppings are also a carrier for potentially fatal illnesses like salmonella, E.coli, respiratory histoplasmosis (which can permanently affect the lungs), Cryptococcosis, or meningitis to name a few.

Get a specialist, please don't try cleaning it yourself unless you have a face mask as a minimum!!!
