last trime I needed the same thing , I just went around the building sites picking up
the bits .. most sites have a waste bundle , that they will let you have ?
depends how much you need ..

Thanks for your replies. I had wondered about doing that, but did`nt want someone ringing Mr Plod with my Car Reg and later getting a shock visit. I was hoping a Board member had some cluttering up there garden or there Neighbours.

Being serious , you can just go on any site and ask them if they have any
scrap bits , they will let you have them .. if you look around the floor , you will also find little bundles
of wire , that they use to fix them together ..

I think there are a load near me, will check out later as they have been there for years and covered with grass, weeds and dog **** - they are long though.
