Tried their Sunday lunch yesterday. 3 courses for less than a tenner and absolutely delicious. Homemade apple pie to die for.

I had a wonderful Sunday lunch at Ollie's Bar on Sunday, the first of many I hope Less than 10 Euros ...excellent value.

I understand the new owners, Val & Brian, intend to open 7 days a week from March 19th, but at present they remain closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

They are offering lunchtime snacks now available Mon - Saturday and weekday evening meals will commence from 19th March.

Every Friday is a theme night , this Friday is Chilli Night ( though there is an alternative as well).

Val & Brian's aim is for Ollie's to be a meeting place for the community, not just a taverna.

They appreciate all the help and support the village community have given them since they opened a couple of weeks ago, and hope that many new faces come and see what they have to offer.

That's good to hear. Sounds good. Will have to visit soon

Now open 7 days a week, so a real locals pub.
