Now that we have a decent speed to the site, and Digby put a new battery up yesterday, I am
still having problems. Apparently there is a lot of static in the air and I keep losing the internet connection.
I am really bl**dy frustrated as I use my internet a lot - not just for PP but to pay bills, top up my phone, keep in touch with the boys, sent cards or presents to the UK, but more importantly for research purposes.
For anyone who is moving to Cyprus and needs a good internet connection for business purposes you really need to think about where you are going to be based. Up a mountain road is perfect for me, but not so good for reliable internet connection. (No reflection on Digby - he does his best to keep me charged up).
And who can control static??
I must try to top up my phone in between losing the connection. At least I won't be completely out of touch with the outside world.
Verity.
