Hi all.

For all you 'Golf widows', etc out there, feel content. I have been an octopus bashers widow for 3 days and night. This is all in preparation for the Green Monday down at the lighthouse beach.
Three nights my Cypriot husband who reckons he's not the typical Cypriot, he's 'International!' has been out around the harbour with his long spear and his 'miners' style lamp on his head searching for Octopus. (I said he looked morelike a Gynacologist.)
So three nights of sucessful fishing and three days of going to the beach and bashing it against the rocks! This is the 'tradition' so I'm told! I'll be pleased when it's over and so will the dog, she doesn't like having a live ottopus dangling in her face.
If anyone happens to be at the lighthouse beach you will notice us we will be the very traditional family cooking on the modern gas barbeque! His friends wife and I will be eating pork chops, she's from Finland!
