Has anyone tried this yet, it seems quite upmarket; next to the Frog & Toad where the south indian place used to be.

Russian owned, beautifully decorated inside and upstairs they have a sports bar which is also very nice. Menu's a tiny bit more expensive than others in coral bay but its definitely worth it. Foods such as Duck, Steaks, Pork Belly, Fresh Sea Bass/ Bream, Lamb Shanks, Foie Gras, Risotto, Pasta etc. Very nice fine dining restaurant. The name says it all 'fresh'.

Verdict:
Very nice place , service was second to none , price was what you would expect for that kind of service .
Food ..... I hope we just ordered the wrong food , I had the lamb shank , it could have just been lamb stew , (lacking taste) , the wife had the chicken , also not very tasty , also the pancake starters lacked seasoning ,
but apart from that it was fine..
30 euros per head , with a couple of drinks

Had a look in, staff very nice, menu looked good. Checked the wine list, you can buy a bottle at fair price, but they do have bottles on there at €1100 a bottle, but you can also buy a glass for a fair price. A friend already been, very impressed total bill inc some drinks was €80 I would say for this type of service its fair. There have been one or two places opened ( one in partliclar I can think off, now closed ) who claimed to be offering what this Fresh is about, quality, service etc, they never were, this place is the part, certainly for that special occasion....... Yes it was on the the bone , and presented very well , but it came in a dish
served in bed of what I would say was just an everyday bean stew.

I would go again to try another dish , as I said before , I may have just ordered the wrong meal ..

Everything else was top notch (her indoors was very happy with the place.

I would have it on per with classico .

How can you order the " Wrong Meal " Neil. If it is on the Menu it should be a right meal.

How can you go wrong with a Lamb Shank it hardly requires a Cordon Bleu Chef to prepare it ?

I have had the lamb shank which is served with a 'bertolli bean casolet' (if I spelt it correct) and would not say its 'an everyday bean stew'. I personally found the lamb shank to be beautifully tender as it fell off the bone and the casolet suited the lamb very well I thought and considering I don't like beans I enjoyed this meal. Maybe its just not for everyone. Have not had the chicken ballotine although I would not of thought it to be lacking flavour.

I have also tried the steaks which are gorgeous and would recommend to any steak lover. Also the duck is mouth watering and probably my favourite so far.

Also I didnt realise the goosefat & garlic are closed?

We also were recommended to go to this restaurant and went last Friday evening. Wish we hadn't..

My husband had three courses and I had two starters the cost of the bill was just over Euro 90. The staff are very pleasant and friendly, but they are not co-ordinating with each other. We had 5 different waiters come to the table which resulted in duplication of actions...

Biggest error..... Bringing my husbands main course when my 'main course starter' was not ready. Result, my husband had a cold meal by the time mine arrived. Maitre'D did offer to do his meal again but then that would have meant I had a cold meal.

Next error... Eating my second course starter of a crepe filled with beef... Yuk! Pancake was not done properly (evidently rushed) and the minced beef was tasteless and chewy.

Final error... Delivering the bill with the statement the desserts were on the house because of the problem with the main course... we only had one dessert!!

Depending on what you pay raises your levels of expectations this restaurant did not fulfil Euro 90 plus of expectations..... There are better restaurants (e.g. Palia Lektriki and Tweedies) that do it better for far less.

We have no plans of going back.. :(

I bet they don't have many Cypriot customers! Come up to hill billy land there are still lots of tavernas you can eat very well with good wine and free brandy for €35 to €40 for two. :D 8-)

Not with an overseas waitress he wasn't, but the food is spot on and excellent value for money.

I went to fresh tonight and it seems that they have changed the lamb shank as my partner ordered it, and they've changed the bertolli bean casolet to sweet potatoes. I ordered the catch of the day which was monk fish with some sort of butternut crust this was really nice and I really enjoyed it and it was only €21 too. It seems like they keep changing the menu regularly trying to improve some of the dishes. Look forward to see what they change next as quality seems to have improved from my last visit.

For a new restaurant in the area they seem to be doing well.

They never said what drinks they had , they might have hade a couple of bottles of good wine ..

Like I said , I will 100% give it another try , I think they might be just be having teething trouble , every new place does .

Went to Fresh Restaurant last week. Fab meal. I had Salmon, crab & dill fishcakes with a wonderful tartare sauce and rack of lamb, with vegetables, cooked beautifully. Hubby had roast duck which was extremely tasty. There were 4 of us having starters and main course and we had between us 2 peroni and 2 bottles of wine and the bill was €136. Will certainly be going back.
