Can you really believe that anyone could be so stupid!!!!!!

A young British tourist suffocated on his vomit after drinking huge quantities of cheap alcohol in the popular Cypriot tourist resort of Ayia Napa, police said last night.
George Yuill, 20, from south-east London, died in a hotel apartment block on Monday morning.
Yesterday, a port-mortem examination found he had died of asphyxiation.

Yuill and five other friends had drunk 10 three-litre bottles of vodka and 25 beers during a long drinking session, a police source said.
Three litres of vodka sells for as little as 15 euros in the Cypriot resort.

It is a tragedy for the lad's family, maybe his friends might learn from this terrible experience; what is so clever about consuming large amounts of alcohol, it is a sad reflection of some of today's youth... not just youth either, but would it be any different if the drink cost more? I doubt it.

The binge drinking culture that has ravaged the UK and other countries shows no sign of abating and will continue to claim lives until there is some way of stopping it.
There are laws about "drunk and disorderly" public nuisance etc but the Police seem to do nothing to prevent it.Bar owners who encourage the drinking games etc should hold some responsibility as it is their greed to make money that is at the bottom of most of it.
Whatever the cost of alcohol in the shops it will not deter people from buying it.
From someone who can get tipsy on 2 glasses of wine, I cannot even understand why you would want to be so drunk that you are incapable of walking,speaking or seeing,and the thought of being sick all over myself holds absolutely no appeal at all.
Parents cannot always be with their offspring but Police can so should have much more power to arrest them before they kill themselves.
