Can anyone help with a phone number for a funeral home in Paphos please? I believe the one called Guardian Angels (I think) have been talked about on the forum, but I have tried a search and can't find anything.

A friend of a friend has suddenly died and they need to get her body back to UK. Thank you. 99928160

The British Embassy in Nicosia may have alternate numbers and information that may help your friend and give her a better choice and possibly a better deal as it is a very expensive business and not all people may have unlimited funds.
My condolences to them on losing a loved one.

Beverley there isn't a British Embassy in Nicosia, only the British High Commision!

A friend of our's husband died several years ago and the British Commission was no help whatsoever. Although he had a lot of money she had no access to it and was left destitute, and while her solicitor was prepared to indemnify the Commission pending probate they would not help her.
