Hi bigkitty you probably got quite abrupt answers to your question because sophies restaurant has got a bad name. Not because the food they serve is crap, although I don't know if it crap because I and many other people who have lived in Paphos for a number of years never go there.Let's just say that money was donated by the good people of Paphos to buy an ambulance to service the residents who live in pegia.A certain restaurant owner " collected" the money but the ambulance never materialised. There is a bit more to it than this, I might be wrong but this is what I was told a restaurant owners child drowned in a swimming pool apparently the ambulance did not get to the child in time to save her life hence the charity fund raising to buy an ambulance that was on standby in pegia.despicable or what! Sorry bigkitty hope that made sense.

Yes that's about right-- many many ex pats lost quite a bit of money to this family and the establishment was and still is boycotted by many. I think it was taken over by another person but not sure about that-- there are many many places for good food in the
Peyia/ CoralBay area so enjoy. Marj

Folks I suggest that you take care with what you are posting about this business - it is bordering on libel.
