Hello all.

I'm Adam and I've just recently moved out here for a 9 month season touring with shows but I already feel sooo much at home here. I was wondering if someone could please help. I've tried to unlock my girl's BlackBerry Curve with online codes and I have the code to unlock but stupidly I've run out of attempts to unlock and I think the phone is now what is termed as 'hardlocked'. Thus I need to find somewhere that know's what they're about and won't rip me off.

Does anyone please know of a Phone unlocking shop here in Paphos that they could recommend?

Any help would be great.

Thanks everyone in advance.

Adam
P.S. I really do hope the weather inproves!!!

Which company did you get the unlocking code from?

Always found this company to be spot on
http://www.unlocking.com/
Has passed details to lots of other forum users.
They can also offer advice with any unlocking problems

It will involve quite a lot of reading but you will probably find your answer here:-

http://www.blackberryforums.com/

It's quite possible you now have what is known as a "Brick" where only a specialist "Re-Flash" of the software via a computer will do the job.

I wish you success

Thank you for everyone's replies. I really do appreciate them.

Having trawled through many different forums...including the ones posted in your replies...thanks again...I am now under the impression that I do need to take it into a shop that can unlock hardlocked phones.

Marango's is in Paphos is it? Could someone give me an idea whereabouts please? A google search has only brought up a business listing. I'm currently living just up behind Green Corner on the Tomb Of The Kings' Road.

Many thanks again folks.
I'm loving Cyprus.

I was contemplating buying a new blackberry - Amazon have a good offer on at moment - does this mean I would need to go through this procedure? I was thinking I could simply put my SoEasy sim card straight in and it would work? Sorry if I'm being a bit dim!

Providing your new phone is not tied in to any UK provider ie O2, Virgin, Vodaphone etc, you won't have a problem.
