How can I get rid of a bubble message “Activate Windows ++++++++” that as started coming up each night and spoiling our enjoyment of watching Filmon programmes?

I have had Windows 7 in my computer for 3 years and it is only recently that this message as started to come up on the monitor.

I also get one, but on youtube, which is from adobe flash player saying something or other wants to store data on my computer! I'd be grateful for info on how not to get this as well.. popup disabler doesn't work on these.

Has you have said you have been using windows 7 for 3 years it sounds like you might have a virus. And this is a fake message. Do you have an anti virus?

Is there perhaps a small box within the pop-up somewhere that says 'don't show this message again'?

No, there isn't, but I finally sorted it by going to Adobe's web site. On the Settings Manager page, I selected 'always deny' and this seems to have fixed it. I found the answer by googling it. I love Google.
