Hi all, has anyone got any glass jars with lids that they no longer require please. My hobby is jam and chutney making and I have run out of jars for them. Thanks for reading

Sorry - just used up my spare jars as there was a glut of HUGE lovely yellow lemons so I've made my first ever lemon curd (thanks to Jean for her recipe )

No problem Kay. I haven't tried making lemon curd yet, must have a go.

I followed Jean's recipe, and used 3 large lemons and 1 normal size - the lemon curd is VERY tangy. It's still cooling so don't know if it will set properly or whether I should have added another egg and more butter to compensate for the extra large lemons

Still, even if it doesn't set, it should make a good topping for plain yoghurt

It set and it is scrummy yummy. I had to force myself to screw the lids on the jars and put them away, without test tasting a whole jar full.

Thank goodness OH doesn't like lemon curd - all the more for me
