Just to keep the momentum going on a music (and hopefully movie and quiz) section, I will chip in with this.

What was the first record that you ever bought with your own money?

For me it was Ernie by Benny Hill. It came from Woolworths and cost me 50p!

Wake Up Little Suzie, by the King Brothers I didn't know I should have bought the Everly Brothers version.

Mine was Giraffe off by Wayne County and the Electric Chairs, bought in an exchange in Rose Street, Edinburgh, I remember hiding it from my parents and using very low volume on my Fidelity record player (plastic one).

Later went one to more psychaedelic stuff...

The first single I bought Jeepster by T Rex in 1971 from the local record shop in my home town - Javelin Records.

First album, well that's a very different story I'm afraid.... I have to confess it was Winnie the Pooh!

The first record I bought was "Heart Break Hotel" by the King himself. More years ago than I care to remember.

I had put a couple of you tube tunes on from early 50's, 'Zambesi' by Lou Busch and Frankie Vaughn singing 'Green Door'
seemed after that I kept getting message Not acceptable see mod only when on PP forum. I asked Neil about it and he said no one else had contacted him with the problem. I didn't have the problem with 'firefox', any how the problem has gone away after a fortnight and is back to normal on Chrome !!!!

I was just about in process to go see Comp SOS at the top of our Road in Chlorakas!!!!!
