Speaking as a die hard heavy metal fan through all my formative years and having been to see all the greats, there are two performances that stand out for me.

Barry White - Hammersmith Odeon (didn't want to go but it was brilliant).
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BPe7HJ9KML8

Pink Floyd - Nordoff Robbins concert, Knebworth (chucked down with rain but had an atmosphere like you wouldn't believe)

wow!!!!! have a few
but best ones !!!

Pink Floyd in Hyde Park late 60's (slept out on a walkway with every one else lol )
Hot Chocolate in Warrington 80's ( ran down to the front and danced the night away)
Dire Straits in Glasgow late 80's ( phenominal)

and the best concert I have ever been to ever
and would love to repeat and repeat and repeat
was
Andrea Bocelli 2010 in the Theatre of Silence...this Theatre is open aired set in the fields in the hills near to Lajetico in Tuscany where he was born and where he performs once a year to a small audience...Jose Carrias was his special guest along with other very talented stars...pure magic!!!

I totally forgot about Andrea Bocelli. Wife treated me many ago to his concert at the old Wembley Stadium. Have most of his CD's but seeing him live was a new experience

He sang this song near the end, not with Sarah but another very talented soprano. Had tears in my eyes

On a classic theme, the recent performance of Falstaff at La Scala was certainly a quite phenominal experience.

We saw The Eagles at Sheffield Arena in 2001 and then again at the "Long Road Out Of Eden" tour in 2009 at Manchester. Both concerts were totally fantastic.

May not be everyone's cup of tea but we also saw Barry Manilow at Sheffield along with Curtis Stigers, who we also saw again at Sheffield City Hall and St George's at Bradford. BM does not just get on stage and sing, he actually puts a show on....what a performer, I would love to know where he gets his energy from!

Saw Elton at the last show at the old Sky Blues football stadium. He was good but supporting was Lulu who I used to like but she was terrible. Perhaps had an off night

According to the press today, Beyonce's latest UK concerts were sold out in 15 min. Good to see that live concerts are alive & well

Look at the ticket price from 86 , I wonder how much they would cost this year if dear Freddie was still with us.

Alice Cooper in Dublin - It really is an amazing performance, even if you're not that big of a fan. I was very close to the stage. I got fake blood on my top!

Nine Inch Nails - amazing live. (A lot of people are going to say "who?" I like them and that's the important bit)

Very jealous of anyone who saw Queen live I think it would of been amazing. I was just to young.

Would love to see Metallic and Muse.

Not really been to seen that many concerts I spend all my money on going to see The Rocky Horror Show again (and again).
