My first choice is Breakfast at Tiffany's. Fell in love with Audrey Hepburn but sadly not to be :brokeheart

Second choice left me with many mixed emotions - The Deer Hunter

Without any shadow of Doubt has to be 'Blazing Saddles' followed by 'Life of Brian'

A short film of my daughter in a school revue, playing a drunken wifey and singing Cambeltown Loch I Wish You Were Whisky, it was hilarious!

This is a really difficult one as it depends what mood you are in as different films mean different things at different times.

The time I remember coming out of the cinema absolutely gob-smacked was after going to see the original Star Wars in 1977.

Other films I love (or loved as some lose a bit of their allure after the 50th viewing) depending on the mood include.

Some Like It Hot
Con Air
Young Frankenstein
The Wedding Singer
Die Hard
Some Kind Of Wonderful
Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo
Galaxy Quest
The Great Escape
The Long Good Friday
Porkys

Absolutely right about the mood you are in, same with music

Some great films there but haven't seen them all. A tad surprised that none of Clint Eastwood or the "Dukes" films have been mentioned so far

Sadly, with the exception of Blazing Saddles, I don't do westerns, but could happily add Dirty Harry to the list along with Bullitt, which is easily in the same league.

Yes, very tricky to pick one or even a short list of 10.
A few good ones have been mention already.

When I get pushed for a single film I usually go with Aliens.

Maggie B

AND, what about 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest?' My husband calls me Nurse Rat Sh*t quite often. Don't know why?
