Respond with greatest caution Beverley, we get calls and emails from all over the world on a regular basis about blind properties for investors and themselves. They usually look for an inordinate amount of property and personal information, then it usualls requires bank details for transfers, and a forward payment to them to ensure accounts are compatible amongst many other attempts.

Google any name, any email or number you get.

It's a genuine case. I know the couple who want to exchange a 4 bedroom semi detached property with property in Cyprus.

If anyone has a property not burdened with a mortgage, my friends are willing to exchange and they have, in fact, advertised in the Cyprus Mail. The ad should be there even today, until the end of the month.

The advantage of the exchange for the Cyprus owner is that the property in the UK can be sold, while the property in Cyprus will take years to find a buyer. Cyprus property prices will continue to dive while from next year the UK government will invest 130 billion in the mortgage market to help purchasers.

If anyone is interested, look for the contact details in the CM ad. or email nzah50 @ hotmail.com unless the words barge and pole are too intensely predominant ;-)

Thanks for all replies, the gentleman has contacted me so it is reassuring to know that it is genuine.

Ooops!

Just an unfortunate name to have when dealing with internet communication, or maybe only to those of us who are old enough to know of Walter Mitty?
