Yes, I do sympathise with you Frank.

Get a hot water bottle, a spray and some anti inflamatory/pain killers.

I'm still not 100%..... :(

Frank,

This must be the time of year for injuries, we have been soooo cold for soooo long in the UK.

You need to get over to the other side for some warm sunshine!

Take care,

Try zivania,

It's famed as an alcohol rub.......

and it does work.

Both inside and out........

You can also rub it on if you have a cold, use it as an antiseptic, clean the windows with it,rub your forehead to bring a fever down, burn it in a cup to warm things up etc etc

Hi Molly

Hope you are fully recovered soon - just one question,

why were you wanting a treadmill the other day?

Frank, I can fully sympathise with you. I haven't suffered badly with my back for a long time, touch wood, but when I did, it was really painful. Doctor knocked me out for three days with high doses of valium, and it took six weeks to get back to work.
Rosemary suffers too, and we have just bought memory foam mattress toppers, which have really helped her back. We also use, when needed, a Forever Living product called MS Gel, that has Aloe Vera in it.

Hope you feel better soon Frank. If you get that desk job for a while, don't sit for long periods. You need to keep moving. Use ice packs to bring the inflammation down, then heat pads to encourage the circulation. Alternate them.

Been there, got the t-shirt with my back. I now have more trouble with my neck and shoulders and knees. Deep joy!

Take care.

Wev'e been everywhere and applied for everything but to no avail. I guess the next step is the spinal injection but as my gp says it will only mask the lower back pain it wont help the hip pain and numbness in my lower leg but we are doing physio at home .That is on going and it does help a little. Well, I hope all of you who have been suffering with your backs are feeling much better now.

Mick, I am really feeling for you. You must be in constant pain or discomfort and it is very wearing. I hope you are managing to keep a positive mental attitude. Really difficult with chronic pain.

Take care everyone.
