Simon,

This sounds brilliant, just the sort of thing to wander down to Pahos and spend the day dreaming. Any more details please?

Thanks

John B ;)

Bloody hell, they don't like to give too much information away do they?

I gave up trying to find the Route yesterday because there were no details under the menu heading Map - Route where I expected to find it.

So, I just looked under Documents and again - nothing obvious there either

Finally, I found this:
PROGRAMME
2.1. The Rally will start on Monday 27 May from the Enaerios Parking Place in Limassol at 12:00hrs
and will end in Limassol on Friday 31 May at about 17:00hrs.
2.1.1. Opening of entries: 30 November 2012.
2.1.2. Closing of entries: 31 March 2013.
2.1.3. Provisional Results: Friday 31 May 20:00hrs.
2.1.4. Final Results: Friday 31 May 20:30hrs.
2.1.5. Prize giving ceremony: Saturday 1 June 20:00hrs.

2.2. The Route:
Monday 27 May: Limassol – Paphos
Tuesday 28 May: Paphos - Platres
Wednesday 29 May: Platres - Nicosia
Thursday 30 May: Nicosia – Nicosia
Friday 31 May: Nicosia – Limassol

Simon, if you can provide a direct link to the information with course routes and times - please can you do so?

That's the crappiest website I've come across at trying to find any information from a spectators point of view!

Thanks Simon

That helps a lot!
Bit of a bummer that the Limassol side is while I'm at work so I may have to see if my other half is free to pop along to Kolossi Castle with the camera :-)

Just got road book for rally , first cars should be arriving at the castle down the habour from 4.30 if event is on time. should be as you get penelty for late start. Should give English an advantage.

Some fabulous cars (even from before my time!!) all greatly cared for and restored where necessary. Owners should be proud of themselves.

As a matter of interest, what age does a car have to be to be considered vintage or exempt from road taxes in Cyprus.

World Rally update
The first leg went great,
I finnished 16th overall and second in class, with 120 second penelties . I could not belive the quality of the cypriot driving( you dont say that every day ). , The leader only incured 3 second penelties wow . The finnish was at the castle in Paphos, only 4 cars failed to finnish . The rally now moves on to the troddos. Even doing one day was a great experiance i would recomend to everyone , good luck to Steve (merc coupe ) and Dave (Jag xj6) Who are doing full event.

Classic cars are 1983 and befor , with fiva aproval you can get 60% discount on road tax.
However they will not aprove any car they have rejected a lot of aplication of old twincabs recently.
