The job is PA to the General Manager at the Annabelle Hotel - I had better watch my weight as I am entitled to a free lunch everyday.

I am so happy because I have even been looking at going back to the UK and working for four months as I could earn more in that four months than a year here, but this job is good paying as well.

Got to go soon as I have to go and sign my contract in another couple of hours. First contract I have had in Cyprus. Plus friends are taking us out for a celebratory meal tonight.

The bad news is I won't be able to make the coffee morning. The good news is I will be at work.

It has been a hard slog and will be even harder at first getting back into a routine, hence I was up at 5.30 this morning to ensure I am ready in time. Must admit woke up with a smile, especially since Koo Koo had never heard the alarm clock since we got her and she nearly sent everything on the bedside table flying as she couldn't understand where the noise was coming from.

The meal was lovely but not so much the celebration we had hoped for - had to have a clear head this morning.

Fiona - will have to meet up at lunchtime then. Good to know someone who is already there.

Just to update you all as I was so exhausted last night plus came home with a bad back and neck - have told them I need a new chair as there is no support in it and it does not adjust so it is too low so I am sitting there with my head up looking at the screen by the end of the day I could hardly move. Don't know what I will be like by the end of this evening. Even Steve said for me to take our computer chair in. I was in bed by 9.30 and asleep by 9.35pm.

It was alright, but difficult not having the correct things to work with and trying to get organised, but these things take time. Some of the people are really nice and helpful - as always. Won't say too much just in case someone is watching.

There I was thinking I was going to eat in a posh restaurant - no staff canteen and not for me, so with 20 minutes left of my lunch break I had to run down to Tea for Two and get a sandwich.

And I got the position wrong it is Executive Secretary - posh ain't it.

Will let you have more info tomorrow as I am sure I will be too tired again tonight to get on here.
