Hi all, I'm having a problem with my old desktop, I really don't know much about them, only that it runs on X.P. Professional, it's one that I had built for me about 10 years ago, and it only has a small memory, so I'm reluctant to get it repaired as the usual starting fee is around 50 Euros, and it's just not worth it, I could use that towards a Tablet or something.
So, anyway here goes, I'll try to explain what's happened the best I can, any help would be greatly appreciated. I turned the computer on a day or two ago and all I got was a black screen with a lot of writing on it saying things like Windows will start normally in 30 seconds, then it counts down to zero, then I get a flash for a second of the Windows symbol, then back to the above. It says I can press F2 which Iv'e tried, this takes me to a blue screen which says select boot device, I follow all instruction and it takes me back to the black screen as above again. Because I had this computer built I never had a recovery disc, and although I made one it doesn't work, so what do I do guys bin it? Does any of this make any sense I hope so, as any help would be very appreciated.
