Two instruments: Fiddle and Accordian. But then again I like the Bazouki.

My wife, Rachel, plays the violin.

It sounds wonderful when she is playing.

I do like electric guitar as well.

Violin is my favourite but then over the years I have loved the flute,a good rock drummer and in my dotage I have fallen in love with the Bazouki.

Bev both you & zorbathejock have mentioned the Bazouki & I admit I have no experience with this instrument. In fact I cannot even remember how it sounds Lets have some interesting live links please

Oh Poppy sorry I didn't like that one. Fiddle is great, but most violins screech, at least they do to my hearing.

Hi Jo,i think string instruments sound better if you listen with your eyes closed,i find it distracting if the player has a lot of body movement.

Dug out from the loft a classical guitar I bought my wife many years ago. The provenance says, built by Di Giorgio in 1975. Will not bore you with her experience of
lessons but she gave it up. So here I am with a restrung instument which still sounds good but without a clue what to do next. Too old (too tight ) to take lessons any more so any members with experience of how I can get this instrument back into some sort of life
